Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or CCMA) to join our family practice department at the Robert C. Byrd Clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient care functions within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant in the clinic setting.
Provide high-quality patient care and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
One year of experience as a licensed practical nurse or certified medical assistant in a primary care clinic setting (highly preferred).
Strong computer skills, preferably with experience on an Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform.
Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
Valid West Virginia LPN License or national certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcare Association (NHA); or the ability to obtain within ninety (90) days.
Current BLS Certification.

We serve as a primary clinical training site for WVSOM students, interns, and residents and offer a wide range of primary care services.
