Position Summary
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for enhancing equipment functionality at various client locations. As a representative of Clean Tech, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide world-class support for critical production systems that contribute to environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and execute necessary corrective actions on Centrotherm equipment.
- Perform routine system maintenance according to client schedules and specifications.
- Engage in complex troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Install equipment upgrades by following technical documentation and work instructions.
- Support the training of new team members on maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs and reporting to meet company and client standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 2 years in equipment operation, repair, and maintenance within the semiconductor or similar industries.
Educational Requirements
- Associate degree in a STEM field or equivalent technical training.
- Military experience with relevant technical skills may be considered.
- Technical certifications or diplomas from trade schools are advantageous.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Work in environments with potentially hazardous materials while adhering to safety protocols.
- Lift up to 30 pounds and navigate various terrains throughout the workday.
- Maintain a flexible schedule based on operational needs.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is between $27.81 and $39.77, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, and paid time off.
