Job Summary

The Production Specialist 3 is a critical role in the manufacturing and packaging of high-quality fan merchandise at Fanatics. As a key member of our team, you will work under general supervision to finish or produce a large volume of product using automated machines or work centers. Your attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions will ensure the highest quality products meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and follow specific instructions given on shop packets.
  • Utilize FMS to accurately document work processes such as the check out and in of work orders and/or materials.
  • Accurately count and coordinate materials required to produce each order according to specifications.
  • Utilize a wide variety of simple manual-feed tools requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Boxes, bags, packages and labels a variety of products based on customer specifications.
  • Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance to equipment, such as cleaning and oiling as required.
  • Perform basic equipment set up such as adjusting settings, changing needles, and basic disassemble/reassemble.
  • Perform general housekeeping and department six sigma activities.
  • Adhere to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements.
  • Treat others with respect and conduct themselves in a positive and inclusive manner daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Closing attention to detail
  • Understand written instruction
  • Mechanical knowledge sufficient to make equipment adjustment using hand tools
  • Ability to complete basic technology applications / basic computer aptitude
  • Good hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to complete repetitive machine operation tasks
  • Ability to read shop packets and follow instruction
  • Ability to count accurately, complete accurate measurements, and complete mathematical computations
  • Ability to inspect materials and finished products for defects
  • Ability to learn and apply accurate PMS Color matching knowledge
