Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Automotive Express Lane Manager to oversee the operations of our service department. This role requires a commitment to excellence and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain reporting systems as required by management and manufacturers.
  • Monitor and assess departmental performance using relevant reports and tracking systems.
  • Foster teamwork within the department and across other departments.
  • Stay informed about and comply with all relevant regulations affecting service operations.
  • Ensure adherence to manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
  • Oversee documentation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Direct and schedule the activities of all department personnel.
  • Review technicians' productivity reports and payroll records.
  • Coordinate with the parts manager to ensure timely availability of parts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Communicate time allowances for repairs to technicians.
  • Ensure high-quality service repairs and minimize return visits.
  • Conduct regular checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
  • Stay updated on new tools and equipment, recommending purchases as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas and customer waiting areas.
  • Establish connections with vocational and technical schools for recruitment.
  • Ensure proper care and inventory management of special tools.
  • Keep customer service files up to date for easy access.
  • Ensure prompt greetings and fair estimates for all customers.
  • Address customer complaints swiftly and in accordance with dealership guidelines.
  • Implement a 24-hour follow-up system to confirm customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a service management or lead role, with at least 1 year in a dealership setting. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Job Type:
Full-time

Salary:
$90,000 - $120,000 per year, including commission and bonuses.
