Medical Registrar

As a Medical Registrar at Rutland Regional Medical Center, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate patient records and timely billing. Your primary responsibility will be to pre-register patients in the hospital information system, gathering complete demographic and insurance information. This requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pre-register patients in the hospital information system.
- Gather complete demographic and insurance information from patients.
- Ensure accurate records and timely billing for patients utilizing the services of Rutland Regional Medical Center and its provider-based clinics.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 Year Customer Service Experience.
- Experience using computerized information systems in a business setting.
- Prior insurance related experience desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate.
- Strong knowledge of basic computer skills and Microsoft Windows desktop applications.
- Ability to apply experience and knowledge to train and assist lesser experienced registrars.
Pay Range: $16.12 - $23.93
