Patient Liaison I Food Service Representative

We are seeking a skilled Patient Liaison I Food Service to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a key member of our Food Services Department, you will serve as the liaison between patient care units and our food services team.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a rapport with patients, providing them with general information about our food services department.
- Respond to patient and customer needs in a positive and professional manner, with the goal of maximizing patient satisfaction.
- Use computer or iPad to enter patient menu selections into our menu system, considering diet orders, allergies, and other specialized information.
- Deliver, pass, and collect meal trays and late trays from patient rooms and designated retrieval areas, following established infection control policies.
- Assist patients with tray setup as needed and work with the clinical team to ensure patient concerns and special needs are met.
- Inventories and stocks unit kitchens to maintain floor stock at appropriate par levels, monitoring dates and rotating product when stocking.
- Perform cleaning assignments in designated areas.
We are looking for a team player with excellent customer service skills, mathematical abilities, and computer skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
