About the Role

iCapital is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Operational Due Diligence team. As a Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for conducting thorough operational due diligence on prospective and current investments, identifying and mitigating operational risks, and providing strategic recommendations to the investment committee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive operational due diligence on investment opportunities, including site visits, interviews, and detailed analysis of operational processes.
  • Assess external fund managers, focusing on private equity, private credit, and real assets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks associated with potential and existing investments.
  • Prepare and present detailed due diligence reports, summarizing findings and providing recommendations to the investment committee.
  • Monitor the operational performance of portfolio companies on a regular basis to ensure compliance with established standards and identify any emerging risks.
  • Collaborate with investment teams, legal, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to due diligence and risk management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in operational due diligence, risk management, internal audit, or a related field within the investment industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What We Offer

iCapital offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $175,000 to $225,000, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including an employer-matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
