Investment Due Diligence Specialist

Join City National Bank's team of professionals in the Investment and Operational Due Diligence functions. As an Investment Due Diligence Analyst, you will work closely with the CNR Manager Research team to support and assist in the selection, monitoring, and maintenance of investment managers and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the investment due diligence process, including research, analysis, and monitoring of traditional and alternative investment managers and strategies.
- Participate in the identification and research of alternative managers and strategies, including private funds and other partnership structures.
- Maintain the CNR Approved Manager Lists, update quarterly reports, and serve as the primary contact point for specific external managers and strategies.
- Assist in maintaining all necessary documentation for regulatory requirements associated with Investment and Operational Due Diligence.
- Support the regulatory requirements of maintaining research records, including fraud oversight, news alerts, and manager lists.
- Conduct investment-related support, such as performance attribution records, style analysis, and peer performance reviews.
- Provide operational diligence-related support, such as service provider records and change logs.
- Represent the Wealth Management business's first line of defense and provide assistance for 2LOD Review & Challenge.
- Contribute to the development of a robust risk culture, risk conduct, and risk literacy within the 1LOD.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of Investment Research experience in both Traditional and Alternative Investments.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Python, or similar programming experience or interest.
- Investment Management experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Starting base salary: $101,325 - $172,568 per year.
- Eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
