Our client, a leading global company focused on digital automation and energy management, is seeking a Procurement Specialist for Upstream Planning to enhance their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Streamline and enhance the acquisition of components from suppliers while adhering to the SPS principles.
- Oversee logistical strategies including batch size, lead time, packaging, ABC/FMR analysis, and components stocking policy.
- Ensure accuracy and conduct analysis of supplier forecasts.
- Evaluate and enhance upstream supply chain performance by reviewing KPIs and spearheading projects aimed at resource optimization.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Manage corrective and preventive measures to address upstream supply chain challenges, such as excess inventory and supplier on-time delivery.
- Escalate critical supplier concerns to senior management.
- Guarantee the quality and consistency of essential supply and stock management parameters, including Replenishment Lead Time, Quantity, Frequency, and Stocking policy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in scheduling or planning.
- Proficient in analyzing data, trends, and metrics to inform decision-making.
- Ability to partner, influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively across the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
