About the Role

The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor will assist the Director of Respiratory Care in overseeing the overall operation of the respiratory area, maximizing the resources of the department. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality respiratory care to patients
  • Overseeing daily shift operations and staff
  • Educating staff, patients, and family members
  • Assessing, planning, evaluating, coordinating, and providing quality care to patients in the Cardio Pulmonary department
  • Assisting the director in maintaining appropriate PI programs and continuous assessment of and improvement to the quality of care and services
  • Orienting new employees and providing in-services for staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) or State Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
