About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced K-8 math intervention specialist to join our team at Braintrust Tutors. As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing high-quality math interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in math to K-8th grade students.
  • Implement our evidence-based intervention programs according to provided guidelines.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of student performance and progress using our reporting platform.
  • Communicate regularly with our Operations team and school staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.

Requirements:

  • A background in Education or a related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
  • Active or Expired Teaching License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Experience working with K-8th grade students is a plus.
  • Proficient in video conferencing platforms and basic computer skills.
  • Reliable wifi.
  • Dedicated workspace, free from distractions.
