About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math and Reading Intervention Teacher to join our team at Catapult Learning. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality instruction and support to students in need of intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct small groups of students in Math and Reading/ELA, focusing on intervention and support.
  • Deliver designated instructional models and utilize company-designed materials and educational strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Supervise students at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being, including escorting them to and from classrooms/learning stations.
  • Perform data entry in a timely manner, meeting deadlines for student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, and parent and classroom teacher communication.
  • Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences, maintaining open communication with parents and guardians.
  • Establish and maintain accurate student records and files, adhering to company, local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents, ensuring a collaborative approach to student support.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • FL Teaching Certificate or Statement of Eligibility.
  • Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
  • Ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
