About the Role

Kanaan Communications is seeking a skilled Fiber Splicer to join our team. As a Fiber Splicer, you will be responsible for preparing and splicing fiber optic cable within our telecommunications system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completion of low-level and high-level labor-intensive tasks
  • Operation of assigned construction equipment
  • Completion of daily production reports
  • Use of hand tools, ladders, and equipment to assist in project completion
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and work areas
Requirements
  • 2 years of related work experience
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and equipment
  • Proficient in the use of telecom construction equipment
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check, motor vehicle check, drug test, and DOT physical exam
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license for at least 2 years
