IDR, Inc. is currently seeking a IT Systems Specialist to support our esteemed clients. This position focuses on delivering technical assistance in a field services environment, particularly in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical assistance in a field services capacity.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, VOIP phones, and networking devices.
- Travel across various regions as required on a weekly basis.
- Engage in a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of remote and onsite work with a maximum of two telework days each week.
- Participate in a long-term contractual engagement that is subject to annual renewal.
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in providing technical support in a field services role.
- Strong technical expertise in hardware and internal components of PCs.
- Familiarity with current protocols, operating systems, and standards, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, wireless technologies, and Windows OS.
- Experience with ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work in correctional facilities and for law enforcement agencies.
