Role Summary:
Direct Care Workers are vital to the daily functioning of our group home environment. We are looking for committed, empathetic, and dependable individuals to guide, instruct, mentor, and provide essential support to our residents.
Position Details:
- Title: Residential Support Specialist.
- Employment Types: Full-time, Part-time.
- Compensation: To be determined.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating the intake and discharge processes for residents.
- Developing, maintaining, and auditing resident files on a monthly basis or as required.
- Creating and managing Daily Task Books, Vehicle Logs, and House Records.
- Coordinating grocery orders and maintaining weekly inventory and meal plans.
- Completing monthly reports, activity schedules, and bi-monthly monitoring forms, along with organizing home visits or preferred activities.
- Assisting residents with daily living skills, personal hygiene, meal preparation, household tasks, goal achievement, medication management, relationship development, and community engagement.
- Submitting all necessary documentation to administration on a weekly basis.
- Ensuring a safe and secure living environment for all residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be of legal age or older.
- Possession of a Level 1 fingerprint card.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (driving record will be verified by the office).
- Experience in Group Homes or similar Direct Care environments is preferred.
- Required certifications (in-house training provided).
- ASL Certification is essential for this specific role.
Shift Availability:
- Shifts available: MONDAY- SUNDAY with varying hours.
- Day Shift: 8 AM - 4 PM, 7 AM - 3 PM.
- Night Shift: 4 PM - 12 AM, 3 PM - 11 PM.
- Overnight Shift: 12 AM - 8 AM, 11 PM - 8 AM.
Experience Requirements:
- Preferred experience in caregiving: 1 year.
