We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Life Skills Professional to join our team at Resources for Human Development. As a Life Skills Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living needs, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Provide direct interaction with participants, monitoring and documenting their progress, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Medication Management: Assist clients with self-administering their scheduled medications and complete hourly zone tracking to ensure the safe storage and administration of medications.
- Documentation: Complete daily shift notes for each client, review site documentation for completion and accuracy, and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
- Program Development: Assist participants in developing personal recovery-oriented goals, create and implement individualized plans to promote skill development and independence.
- Collaboration: Work in cooperation with other agencies and service providers to ensure coordinated and effective services for the rehabilitation of participants.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in the social service field, preferably in a supportive living or behavioral health setting.
- Certifications: CPRP, CPS, WRAP training a plus.
- License: Current valid State Driver's License required.
- Competitive Pay: $17/hour with up to an additional $1,500 Sign-On Bonus.
