We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Physician to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our Nuclear Medicine team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level care to patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures
  • Lead and manage the Nuclear Medicine team, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine and apply this knowledge to improve patient care
Requirements
  • Board certification in Nuclear Medicine or an NRC authorized user eligible diplomate of the American Board of Radiology
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
  • Completion of residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Skills in interpretation of general nuclear medicine studies, nuclear medicine cardiac studies, and PET/CT studies
  • Experience in the administration of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals
  • Leadership experience in a healthcare setting
