Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for utilizing your analytical skills to effectively apply knowledge towards imaging processes, techniques, and procedures. You will plan and accomplish goals using experience, judgment, and time management skills. You will uphold safety standards set forth by regulatory agencies and interact effectively with patients, addressing any apprehensions, instructing students, and collaborating with other staff technologists. You will also monitor patients for changes such as skin discoloration or nausea, consulting physicians as needed. Additionally, you will ensure the safety and functionality of equipment by inspecting safety interlocks according to procedures. You will perform clerical and technical duties including maintaining records, scheduling appointments, and attending patient care conferences. You will foster positive interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors, physicians, and fellow employees. You will maintain confidentiality of all designated hospital information and adhere to infection control and safety procedures. You will perform additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Bachelor's of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited academic program or an Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited academic program plus 2 years of experience by date of hire.
Knowledge of crosssectional anatomy and medical terminology.
Working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine Information System (NMIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current registration in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT (NM)).
At least one of the following advanced certifications and current registries: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MR).
NIH Human Subjects Protection in Research Certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR.
