Position Overview:


The Senior Financial Accountant will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy of financial documentation, classifying transactions, overseeing accounts payable, and documenting general ledger activities sourced from CRM systems.

This role includes conducting reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts, generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and maintaining precise financial reporting standards.

The position also involves reviewing payroll through external applications and necessitates effective communication with franchise owners to relay financial insights and support.

This role requires strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Classification:
Ensure accurate categorization of bank and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.

Management of Accounts Payable:
Oversee accounts payable for major vendors, guaranteeing timely and precise payments, fostering positive vendor relationships, and monitoring cash flow.

General Ledger Management:
Document and reconcile general ledger activities from clients' CRM systems.

Merchant Payment Reconciliation:
Reconcile merchant payments processed through the CRM, addressing discrepancies as they arise.

Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations:
Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements.

Preparation of Financial Statements:
Generate detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Industry-Specific Financial Acumen:
Possess an understanding of industry-specific operations to ensure accurate financial statement representation.

Payroll Oversight:
Review payroll processed through third-party applications.

Effective Communication with Franchise Owners:
Communicate proficiently with franchise owners via professional platforms, providing financial updates and guidance.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks.
Strong time management abilities.
Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.
Intermediate proficiency in software applications, including Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software is preferred.
A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
