Control Technician

We are seeking a skilled Control Technician to join our team at Power-Flo Technologies, Inc. As a Control Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical control panels in the field, including HVAC, pumps, and machines. You will also be responsible for start-up and commissioning of variable frequency drives and soft starters, testing of electrical panels in our UL 508 control panel shop, and performing preventative maintenance on customer equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot electrical control panels in the field, including HVAC, pumps, and machines.
  • Start-up and commissioning of variable frequency drives and soft starters.
  • Testing of electrical panels in our UL 508 control panel shop.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on customer equipment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience with electrical machine, motor, and/or pump troubleshooting.
  • Field service background.
  • Experience with boiler controls a plus.
  • Experience with programming variable frequency drives and soft starters.
  • Experience reading electrical diagrams for industrial control panels.
  • Must have a clean and valid NYS driver's license to operate company vehicles.
