Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled PLC Control Specialist to join our team at KH Manufacturing - North America. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with electrical schematics, and a background in industrial and manufacturing engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair issues with industrial automation equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics to understand system layouts and connections, facilitating effective maintenance and upgrades.
  • Program and maintain PLC systems to ensure efficient operation of manufacturing processes, collaborating with engineering teams to optimize automation systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff on equipment operation and maintenance, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, driving business growth and excellence.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair, with a strong understanding of electrical principles and circuit analysis.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, with the ability to create and modify schematics as needed.
  • Background in industrial and manufacturing engineering, with knowledge of automation systems and control logic.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of programming languages and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with industrial automation equipment and control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning, with the ability to analyze and optimize production workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation

The salary for this position is $39 - $43 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
