Cherrelyn Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care to our residents. The successful candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' respiratory status and develop plans to address any deficiencies or abnormalities.
  • Provide respiratory therapy, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other interventions as needed.
  • Work closely with the nursing team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in respiratory care.

Requirements

  • Unencumbered registered or certified Respiratory Therapist authorized to practice in Colorado.
  • Active CRT or RRT credential.
  • Associate degree from an accredited school.
  • Minimum of one year of respiratory experience in a skilled nursing and/or acute care setting.
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
  • Knowledgeable user of Point Click Care (PCC).
