Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Littleton. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in general, acute, critical care, and emergency areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver respiratory care procedures to patients according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform therapeutic modalities, including patient monitoring, medication delivery, ventilation management, expansion therapy, and bronchial hygiene.
  • Perform diagnostic testing, including ABG's, PFT's, EKG's, cardiac, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry.
  • Assist in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency care by providing airway maintenance and management, cardiac support, and other assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program.
  • Current credential of CRT by N.B.R.C.
  • Current state Respiratory Therapist Licensure (RLT) in applicable state of employment.
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
  • Other certifications required upon hire or within 6 months of hire: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
