Respiratory Therapist

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support our team in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities:- Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
- Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance.
- Educate the patient and family about the patient's illness and provide information about community resources.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- PALS Certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- State licensure if required by law.
