**Responsibilities**

The Guest Room Specialist is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. This includes servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stocking carts with room supplies, and replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to convey information and ideas clearly. They will also be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, and work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

The successful candidate will maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. They will also maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.

In this role, you will have access to back-of-house areas of the hotel and sensitive information. You will interact and occasionally have unsupervised contact with guests and/or colleagues. Access and control to sensitive areas in the hotel premises, including Master Keys and/or guestrooms, Storage/Liquor Room, and secured file cabinets.

This position requires a high level of trust and responsibility, and you will represent the company with a certain level of reputation and good character, exercising sound judgment at all times.

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
  • Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
