Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify the root causes of substance abuse and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, to support clients in their recovery journey.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Facilitate access to community resources, including 12-step programs and support groups.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in the field.
- Master's degree in a related field, such as counseling or social work.
- Current licensure or certification in a relevant field, such as CCS, CSI, LCAS, or CADC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This role will involve working in a variety of settings, including client homes and community locations. You will be required to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Physical DemandsThis position requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. You will also be required to drive and operate a personal vehicle safely and adhere to all applicable state and traffic laws.
