We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at King's Daughters Medical Center. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist to implement occupational therapy programs for patients with cognitive, physical, or emotional disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop treatment plans and provide treatments to patients in a timely manner.
- Design and fabricate orthotic devices and assistive/adaptive equipment for patients.
- Document treatments and goals in EPIC.
- Associate Degree in Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE accredited school or equivalent.
- Maintain active licensure in the State of Kentucky as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Requirements:
- Constantly works near moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Occasionally exposed to risk of radiation.
- Frequently required to operate a computer and other equipment.
