Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Program Quality Engineer to support the F35 production program in New Hampshire. In this role, you will help amplify the voice of Quality with predictable and proactive implementation of the quality sciences.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing support and guidance to the Quality team supporting the F35 Electronics Modules
  • Leveraging data to help drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce CoPQ
  • Planning and executing Quality Management Systems Audits
  • Leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities
  • Leading containment and disposition activities
  • Facilitating Material Review Boards (MRBs)
  • Generating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for new business activities
  • Serving as a Phase Review Assessor
  • Supporting the Master Return Agreement (MRA)
  • Championing Production Process Verification (PPV) / First Article Inspections (FAI)
  • Communicating clearly and concisely with internal and external customers

This role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 4-6 years of experience
  • Proven understanding of quality science tools (8D RCCA, SPC, Auditing)
  • Self-starting problem solver with a fact-based focus on continuous improvement
  • Organized; capable of juggling several tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Team-oriented; ability and desire to work with a hybrid team
  • Demonstrated leadership of a group or team
  • Active Secret or higher clearance (or the ability to obtain)
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Preferred qualifications include Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, MiniTab, or other dashboarding and data analytics tools, and proficiency in TipQA, Solumina, Paperless or other MES/QMS systems.
