Job Overview

The SOC Project Management Office (PMO) Audit Manager plays a crucial role in directing the planning, execution, and reporting of multiple SOC reports concurrently. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in status meetings and collaborating with external audit firms while working closely with business unit leadership and Business Risk Management teams to meet project objectives;
  • Advising business unit leaders to proactively assess scope modifications to SOC reports in response to shifts in organizational structure, product lines, and technological advancements;
  • Evaluating SOC report drafts and suggesting amendments in accordance with AICPA standards, including updates to existing controls, quality of descriptions, and overall content utility;
  • Offering guidance and constructive feedback to business unit management to address control discrepancies, identify deviation patterns, and formulate remediation strategies as needed;
  • Addressing inquiries related to SOC reports, due diligence questionnaires, and RFPs through written communication;
  • Participating in client presentations, whether in-person or virtual, as required;
  • Contributing to various strategic initiatives and projects within the SOC PMO as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory;
  • The ideal candidate should possess over seven years of auditing experience in public accounting or internal audit, with a focus on Information Technology;
  • Certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are advantageous;
  • Experience in Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance is preferred;
  • Strong analytical, client service, time management, and communication abilities are essential;
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment;
  • Proficiency in assessing and testing internal controls;
  • A demonstrated self-starter with the ability to oversee long-term projects;
  • Attention to deadlines and detail is crucial.

Compensation Range:

$80,000 - $132,500 Annually. The aforementioned range pertains to the role in the primary location specified. Should the candidate work outside of this primary location, the applicable compensation range may vary.
