Job Summary:

Orthopaedic Specialty Group, P.C. is seeking a per diem MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for maintaining imaging equipment to ensure patient safety and optimal imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures with high quality, care, and timeliness.
  • Escort patients to dressing rooms and procedure rooms.
  • Explain MRI procedures and answer patient questions.
  • Maintain and follow MRI safety guidelines.
  • Complete related paperwork.
  • Administer I.V. contrast.
  • Conduct Quality Control and monitor machine equipment.
  • Assist Radiologist with Arthrogram procedures.
  • Assist in keeping the scan room clean and stocked.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree or equivalent 2-year college or technical school.
  • ARRT (R) certification required.
  • ARRT (R)(MRI) certification preferred.
Working Conditions:

The position requires sitting for long periods, stooping, bending, and stretching for supplies. Manual dexterity is necessary to operate a keyboard, computer, and MRI equipment. Vision and hearing must be correctable to 20/20 and normal range for telephone contacts, respectively.
