About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Repair and troubleshoot complex components, including engines, transmissions, and differentials.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a timely and safe manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred.
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 2:00-10:30pm. Second shift start times after 11am eligible for $1.50 per hour shift differential. Third shift start time after 9pm eligible for $2.00 per hour shift differential.
