POSITION SUMMARY

The role is pivotal in the development of planograms that support Store Planning, Operations, Merchants, and Vendors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with merchants and vendors to create planograms at the designated lab store.
  • Partnering with the Store Planning Manager and Senior Project Supervisor to optimize space allocation and product placements in line with store design.
  • Assisting merchants in the creation of promotional planograms and managing space allocation effectively.
  • Providing support to merchants and reset teams with planogram documentation.
  • Creating the POG schematic and product listings for all planograms.
  • Coordinating with vendors and merchants to gather necessary product information and images for planogram development and POG library maintenance.
  • Ensuring planogram accuracy in collaboration with the store operations team.
  • Maintaining quality control for SKU setup and related processes.
  • Delivering analytical reports and financial assessments of planogram performance based on inventory metrics.
  • Communicating effectively with store operations regarding project implementations and assortment modifications.
  • Managing the Store Planning intranet site for remix planograms.
  • Providing updated planograms to store operations to uphold planogram standards in the field.
  • Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures while executing job responsibilities.
  • Participating in all store meetings, training sessions, and company-sponsored events as required.

SUPERVISORY ROLE

This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety protocols and operational instructions.
  • Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence, with effective communication skills.
  • Capability to perform calculations involving discounts, percentages, and basic algebra.
  • Problem-solving skills to address practical challenges with limited standardization.
  • Ability to visualize store shelf displays and comprehend merchandising strategies.
  • Compliance with company driving and licensing standards.

WORK AVAILABILITY

  • Regular and acceptable attendance is required.
  • Availability for at least 40 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasional travel with overnight stays may be necessary.
  • Must meet driver's license requirements as stipulated by the company.
  • Eligibility to rent vehicles in all operational states is required.
  • Current auto liability insurance is mandatory.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical requirements of this role include:

  • Occasional use of hands for handling or feeling; standing, walking, reaching, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds regularly, with the potential to lift up to 100 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment typically features moderate noise levels and may involve working near mechanical parts and outdoor conditions.
