Indio Management is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Professional to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents and prospects, ensuring a seamless leasing experience.
Key Responsibilities- Meet and greet prospects, presenting the features and benefits of our properties and securing lease agreements from qualified individuals.
- Follow up on prospective residents, marketing our community to telephone prospects and converting phone calls to tours, property tours to leases, and internet leads to tours and leases.
- Show apartment homes to prospective residents, adhering to proper procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ensure guest cards are complete, entered into our property management software, and completed for prospects.
- Prepare and complete all lease-related paperwork, from the application process through move-out, including processing rental applications, preparing move-in information, lease files, renewal letters, and leases.
- Participate in answering phones, taking messages, responding to email leads and inquiries, filing, and entering work orders in our property management software.
- Provide quality customer service and timely response to customer requests and complaints.
- Develop and maintain first-class customer service relationships with prospects and residents.
- Perform community inspections, pick up litter, and report any maintenance needs to our Service Team.
- Assist with shopping competitive properties and maintaining thorough product knowledge of our properties, sister properties, corporate housing partners, and competitors.
- Assist the Community Director and other team members in developing and implementing effective marketing goals to increase traffic and leads.
- Assist with resident functions and as directed by the Community Director and other team members.
- High School diploma or general equivalent degree (GED)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a customer service or sales-related position
- Previous experience in residential property management a plus
