Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communications Coordinator to work in our switchboard team. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing incoming calls, monitoring alarms and emergency telephones, and processing work orders in a timely manner. Additionally, they will provide information to walk-up visitors and patients in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct incoming calls from the switchboard and patient information lines in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Monitor alarms and emergency telephones in the switchboard and communicate necessary information quickly.
  • Process work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide information to walk-up visitors and patients in a courteous and professional manner.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One year of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using common computer applications.

Baptist Health System KY & IN offers competitive compensation and benefits packages to its employees. The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
