MRI Technologist PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Review and complete patient paperwork, including exam, scheduling, and physician orders.
- Transport patients to and from their rooms and ER.
- Monitor equipment for mechanical safety and explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties.
- Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal views.
- Work collaboratively with the Diagnostic Imaging Department to meet patient needs.
- Graduate of an accredited program for Technologist.
- Current licensure or permit in the State of Texas (TDH).
- CT registry preferred, MRI registry required within 6 months.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital-imaging department.
- 1 year experience in CT or MRI preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
