We are seeking a PRN Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at the League City Convenient Care Center.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in radiologic technology and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities will include performing MRI procedures, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring technical quality of scans.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, identifying and reporting accidents or equipment malfunctions, and promoting individual professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, including preparing patients for exams and ensuring technical quality of scans.
  • Maintain equipment, including performing quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and matrix camera.
  • Identify and report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
  • Take emergency calls within the department.
  • Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or Registered Radiological Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) and Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
