Job Purpose:

The primary objective of the Offshore Installation Engineer is to serve as the technical interface with the Contractor Vessel Offshore Operation Engineers. This involves overseeing on-vessel Construction/Technical Supervisors and Inspectors, ensuring on-vessel safety, quality, and installation procedure checklists are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical installation support to the CPY Vessel Management Team, ensuring the CTR executes the scope in full compliance with the installation procedure and risk assessment.
  • Ensure that Contractor Project Engineers check tooling quantities, fittings, and sockets, and cross-check procurement equipment checklists.
  • Verify that all equipment, rigging, and materials have been loaded out, and all certification is received.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of minimum marine construction experience.
  • 5 years of minimum subsea ultra-deepwater offshore installation experience.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of marine activities involving DP3 Pipelay, Vessel, DP3 Heavy Subsea Construction Vessels, and DP2 MSVs.
