Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Accountant CPA to join our dynamic team at Morgan & Associates CPA PC's. As a key member of our firm, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and develop strategies to maximize tax savings for clients.
  • Provide proactive tax advisory services, including entity structuring, succession planning, and transactional support.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address tax-related inquiries, provide guidance, and build trusted relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of client services and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Assist with tax audits, examinations, and resolution of tax notices as needed.
Requirements
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting and advisory services, preferably in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax software (UltraTax CS & TaxDome) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional knowledge of QuickBooks Online & Desktop.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
