We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Boston Speech Therapy. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and assist in providing therapy to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologist in evaluating and diagnosing patients
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist
  • Provide therapy sessions in multiple languages to improve speech and language skills
  • Monitor and document patient progress
  • Assist in educating patients and their families on communication strategies
  • Collaborate with the Speech Language Pathologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Requirements:

  • State certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work under supervision
  • Ability to grow and develop Speech Pathology skills through hands-on experience
