Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at Aba Therapy Of St Lucie Inc.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, developing behavior plans/treatment plans, and providing field supervision when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
  • Develop behavior plans/treatment plans that focus on teaching and other antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behavior(s)
  • Review and sign off on behavior plan/treatment plan training for all field staff
  • Provide field supervision when necessary
  • Update objectives that have been mastered for both reduction and acquisition as needed
  • Observe the therapist implementing reduction and acquisition program(s) as needed
  • Provide praise or corrective feedback (e.g., including modeling if necessary)
  • Discuss the client's progress with caregiver and discuss issues occurring in the home with the caregiver that are related to the program objectives once per week
  • Provide caregiver training
  • Complete therapist evaluation
  • Submit reports (e.g., reauthorization and monthly reports)
  • Complete daily progress notes
  • Complete authorized therapy hours per client
  • Create ongoing data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for all consumers, and to analyze data on a frequent and ongoing basis to guide programming
