Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Senior Business Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Agile product team, you will be responsible for leading business architecture efforts and collaborating with development teams to drive solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Business Architect: Act as a lead business architect for an Agile product team with business architects and user experience designers.
  • Collaboration and Solution Development: Collaborate with development teams to identify ideas and drive towards solutions.
  • Client Needs Analysis: Analyze client needs and requirements to provide related insight.
  • Business Architect Tasks: Proactively accomplish business architect tasks.
  • Methodology Development: Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
  • Deliverables and Performance Metrics: Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
  • Pega Process Expertise: Independently conduct discussion on Pega process, functionality, and structure.
  • Meeting Leadership: Lead meetings to discuss and plan business process elaboration and configuration practices.
  • Team Coaching: Coach junior team members, across all vendors on the team.
  • Agile Elaboration: Execute Agile elaboration function and solution configuration activities.
  • Business Process Design: Lead business process design activities including describing business expectations and objectives, defining synthetic data requirements, defining business user roles and responsibilities, and defining an approach to validating configured functionality.
  • Best Practices: Assist with best practices for elaboration, configuration, testing, and training.
Requirements
  • Certified Pega Business Architect
  • Pega Process Expertise: Ability to conceptualize process structures and Pega layers.
  • Complex Work Assignments: Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with client stakeholders at all levels (written and verbal).
  • Facilitation Skills: Excellent facilitation skills, including in a virtual setting.
  • Proactive Learning: Demonstrated ability to seek out information (proactive learning).
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office skills especially in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Desired Skills
  • Pega Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience with the Pega or similar low-code COTS platforms.
  • IRS Clearance: Previous IRS clearance and/or experience with IRS ELM requirements documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently.
  • Enterprise Lifecycle Management: Experience with enterprise lifecycle management and requirements documentation tools.
  • Agile Implementation: Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals.
  • SAFe Implementation: Agile implementation using Scale Agile Framework (SAFe).
