About the Role

UF Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our Cardiovascular Diagnostic team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized echocardiographic studies, including stress lab procedures, under the direction of the director/cardio diagnostics supervisor.
  • Operate and maintain advanced cardiovascular ultrasound equipment, including four Philips CVx-3D systems.
  • Utilize Echo Reporting System: MERGE and Electronic Medical Record: EPIC to document patient information and results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular ultrasound technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited Cardiac Sonographer Program.
  • Registry eligible at the time of hire.
  • RDCS or RCS Credentialing must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.
  • BLS certification.
