Position: Security Support Specialist

Location: Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Shifts available between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM based on assigned duties.
  • Federal holidays are non-working days, along with additional closure days as designated by the 75th Air Base Wing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee access control points to classified areas, ensuring verification of personnel and visitor credentials.
  • Distribute appropriate identification badges after assessing visitor requests and conducting background checks.
  • Perform thorough inspections of all hand-carried items at entry points without physical contact.
  • Provide assistance and respond to security and safety incidents involving personnel, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Secret Tier 3 security clearance.
  • A minimum of six months experience in a security-related position or similar field.
