Role Summary

The Event Catering Specialist is responsible for delivering and serving food at scheduled events under the guidance of the catering captain. This role ensures the successful execution of all catering functions during shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and set up food and supplies for catered events at designated locations.
  • Monitor and log food temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
  • Prepare and arrange tables and decorations according to event standards.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the event area during and after functions.
  • Return leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.
  • Collect feedback from guests through comment cards.
  • Stock and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to all guests.
  • Stay informed about the menu and available products.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation policies at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license may be required; must be able to obtain a food handler's permit where necessary.
