Job Summary:

St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a skilled Infusion Technician to join our team. As an Infusion Technician, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our infusion services.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather patient information and complete registration processes

Assemble and maintain patient records

Prepare chart documents for scanning and electronic medical records

Triage and prioritize calls, distributing them to RNs as needed

Schedule patients using Cadence Snap Board Scheduling

Accurately enter orders through electronic medical records

Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice

Perform vital signs, glucometry, phlebotomy, and other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

High School graduate or GED preferred

Healthcare specialty training preferred

Evidence of successful completion of BLS or completion within 6 months of hire

Attend St. Luke's Health Network Associate Patient Care Course or evidence of previous training determined through competency testing

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

Sit for up to 7 hours per day

Stand for up to 10 hours per day

Walk for 6 hours per day

Consistently lift, carry, and push objects up to 10 lbs

Occasionally lift, carry, and push objects up to 75 lbs

Transport patients weighing up to 250 lbs via wheelchair, bed, and/or stretcher

Frequently stoop and bend

Frequently reach above shoulder level

Must be able to perceive attributes of an object through touch

Must be able to hear as it relates to normal conversation, and high and low frequencies

Must be able to see as it relates to general, near, far, color, and peripheral vision
