Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Infusion Technician to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients and families in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Gather and complete patient registration information, including demographic and insurance data.
  • Assemble and maintain patient records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare and scan documents into electronic medical records.
  • Triage and prioritize calls, distributing them to registered nurses as needed.
  • Schedule patients using Cadence Snap Board Scheduling.
  • Accurately enter orders through electronic medical records.
  • Perform clinical procedures within the scope of practice, including vital signs, glucometry, and phlebotomy.
  • Prepare charts for next day's patients.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Healthcare specialty training preferred.
  • Evidence of successful completion of BLS or completion within 6 months of hire.
  • Attend St. Luke's Health Network Associate Patient Care Course or evidence of previous training determined through competency testing.
