As an Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. Our hospital's comprehensive treatment programs, including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services, offer a supportive environment for patients to recover and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized care to adult patients, addressing their unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop targeted interventions
- Document patient progress and outcomes to inform treatment decisions
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days of employment
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Virginia
- Associate's degree in nursing or higher
