Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing evidence-based interventions.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Associate's degree in Nursing or higher.
