Join our team of skilled professionals at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) as an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist This is a unique opportunity to work in a hospital setting where pharmacists are an integral part of the interdisciplinary team. As a clinical pharmacist, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, providing drug information, and ensuring continuity of pharmaceutical care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working day/evening shifts at HUP. You will work every 4th weekend and one summer/winter holiday along with every other MLK day. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based medication use policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in medication use evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a current pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania or be eligible for licensure. A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy is required. A PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency or 2 years of practice experience is preferred. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
