Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Urban Living: You will be dedicated to enhancing community environments, with experience in executing and designing complex multifamily mid-rise and high-rise projects.
  • Resort + Hospitality: You will focus on creating exceptional technical details tailored to hospitality buildings, balancing design work and coordination with internal and external teams.
  • Senior Living: You will innovate beyond traditional design approaches for aging adults, developing site test fits, space explorations, and façade designs. Proficiency in Revit is required.
  • Workplace: You will oversee the Construction Administration phase, ensuring our outstanding design outcomes are realized.

The Project Architect will plan, coordinate, and engage in design development, production drawings, specifications, and construction detailing within a collaborative team environment alongside the Senior Project Manager and Principal. This role demands creative problem-solving skills, technical detailing, and code-compliant designs.

As a key player, you will coordinate with technical consultants, create and update project schedules, assist in workplan setups, and manage minor financial duties related to project profitability and staffing. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

Alongside the Senior PM, you will direct multiple assigned projects and supervise junior team members to meet project deliverables within set timelines and financial constraints, including agency reviews, permitting coordination, and construction administration with support from project administration staff.

This position is vital for client and project success, and the firm is committed to providing strategic mentorship and professional development opportunities.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited program.
  • 8+ years of experience in architectural design and documentation.
  • Experience supervising junior staff and leading project teams.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other design technology software.
  • Registered Architect or completion of ARE exams preferred.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite and Bluebeam; experience with Procore and PlanGrid is a plus.
  • A strong desire to contribute to our development, teamwork, and culture.
  • Experience in various project types, including hospitality, senior living, mixed-use, or multifamily, is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites and client meetings as needed.
